Christians ceremonially worship Jesus Christ. But they reject his words. Christians say that they believe Jesus Christ. But they believe preachers more than they believe Jesus Christ.

The words of Jesus Christ find very important place in the New Testament. Examples are: Sermon on the mount, parables, his commandments, etc. Christians consider them as the word of God, yet they will not accept them for their salvation. But, they believe sermons, television, radio, videos, cassettes, books, etc, rather than to believe the words of Jesus Christ. Christians accepts the story of Jesus Christ as the gospel even though the Bible says that the words of Jesus Christ is the gospel. Jesus Christ said in the great commission that his disciples must teach the words of Jesus Christ (his words) to people for them to obey. Jesus Christ says that this is the gospel and salvation comes through this preaching. Instead, Christians follow their church traditions, rituals, ceremonies, etc, rather than to obey the words of Jesus Christ.

Christians accept the traditional Jesus Christ. But the same Christians reject the words of Jesus Christ. Christians ceremonially worship Jesus Christ. But the same Christians reject the words of Jesus Christ. Christians say that they believe Jesus Christ. But the same Christians believe the preachers more than they believe the words of Jesus Christ.

Christians think that they will be saved if they believe the story of Jesus Christ rather than obeying the words of Jesus Christ. Christians study the stories, philosophy, history, prophesies, etc of the Bible for doctrine rather than the words of Jesus Christ for doctrine. Christians follow the celebrities to be saved and to be blessed rather than to follow the words of Jesus Christ. That is why; the Bible truth is alien to most Christians. Usually, Christians read the Bible for religious or sentimental reasons. They ignore the words of Jesus Christ which  is the true gospel.

A. The Bible Knowledge of Christians

Since Christians are biblically ignorant, they do not understand the truth of God.  For example, they do not know the true biblical meaning of the words like grace, salvation/saved, faith, hope, truth, etc, but they have wrong understanding.  Consequently Christians have no communication from God. So, the devil deceives them. Our Christianity became alien to the Christianity of Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ told the religious people, who thought they were godly, that they are children of the devil because they follow the lies of their father, the devil.  "John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."  Those who preach lies are the messengers of the devil.  Those who believe their lies are the children of the devil, according to Jesus Christ.  Let us therefore, be true Christians and believe the truth of Jesus Christ.

B. Jesus Says to Continue in His words

"John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."  Jesus Christ tells the believers to continue in (study and obey) his words (his commandments) in order to become his disciples so that they may know the truth.  As they obey the truth, they will be made free from all powers of evil.  "Matt. 13:11 --- it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given."  Jesus Christ says that the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven are revealed to his disciples, but not to others.  So, it is important that a Bible teacher should first become a disciple of Jesus Christ to know the truth.  After knowing the truth, he may teach the word of God to others.  If not, they will continue to teach errors in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, by which they will become disgrace to our Lord Jesus Christ.

C. The Wholesome Words of God

"1 Tim 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness: 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words---"  The Bible does not have any conflicting doctrines.  The whole Bible is given by the inspiration of God as his word and it is spiritually revealed to his disciples (followers).  God does not reveal his word to those who call themselves as servants of God, but do not obey God.  They make conflicting doctrines because God had not reveal the mysteries of his word to them. The commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is in a nut-shell the wholesome words of God, which is according to godliness, is the truth of God.  But those who teach deviating from this truth are proud and know nothing of God.  Those who follow the truth will not be a victim to the subtle deception of the devil.

D. Jesus Christ Preached His Gospel

"Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard himMatt 4:23Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel …  Matt 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel …  Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospelLuke 7:22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, …, to the poor the gospel is preached."  These are not my opinions, but quotes from the Bible, which is the word of God.  It is very important to know that our Lord Jesus Christ is the one who first started to preach the gospel for salvation and the apostles followed it through.  Usually, the gospel we hear is not the same gospel which Jesus Christ preached.  The servants of God must preach Jesus Christ and they must also preach the gospel of  Jesus Christ. If they preach Jesus Christ and call it the gospel, they are subtly or ignorantly bypassing the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is deception by the devil.  That is, they are preaching another gospel using the name of Jesus Christ. They will be found guilty for preaching another gospel and they will not escape the wrath of God.  "2Cor 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world (the devil) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."  But, we must preach the same gospel that Jesus Christ preached for our salvation.

Gospel is the good news of God.  But it is in the form of commandments of Jesus Christ.  Gospel must be obeyed "2 Thes 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 4:17 ... what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?"  Believe only gospel is a counterfeit gospel.  Satan, the old serpent, who deceived Eve at the garden of God has many forms of deception.  The same devil, even now, deceives people at the church of God.  So, love the truth, but not the lie of the devil.

E. The Love for the Truth of God

"2 Thes 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." Love the truth of God and receive the truth.  If not, God  will send strong delusion so that you may believe a lie.  So it is important to desire the truth because our own salvation depends on it The counterfeit is always cheap and most of us settle for the counterfeit because it is easy to obtain.  But the counterfeit salvation is not salvation and it is just deception, which leads to hell.  Therefore, we must love the truth if we want to be saved.  The truth, the gospel of Christ, was preached by Jesus Christ as the gospel for salvation.  The story of the Lord Jesus Christ is just the information about the author of salvation.  This information in itself is not the gospel.  Believing the story or accepting the story with emotion, will not save anybody.  Love the TruthObey GodQuit sin.  You will receive eternal life.

F. The Word of God should be the Only Source

Our messages are dedicated to the truth of God.  We have used the Bible as the only source for our studies.  We study and teach the Bible by explaining one verse by another verse in the proper context by the revelation of God.  We serve God with fear.  We have no clients to favor.  We teach the Word of God in truth, so that you may obey God, as we obey Him.  "Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Matt. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."  Mark and Matthew have written the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ using different sentences.  Mark wrote as "preach the gospel".  Matthew wrote the same great commission as, "teach all nations ... teaching them to observe (obey) all things whatsoever I have commanded you."  Therefore preaching the gospel is to teach the commandments of Jesus Christ for obedience.

G. Now Most Christians are of the World

In the true life, Christians are inseparable from the world. Christians are in the world and they are very much of the world. But the words of Jesus Christ teach us that Christians are in the world, but not of the world. "John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world." Since Christians love the world, their back sliding came in two steps. The first one is that they do not want to hear the words of Jesus Christ since it is hard to practice. "John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word." The second is that they are not of God anymore. "John 8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?  47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." It is sad that Christians came to this level to be rejected of God. Yet they have a form of godliness, which is religion. "2 Tim 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous …4… lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." God says to depart from such churches.

H. Most Ministers Twist the Word of God

It may be acceptable for attorneys to study the law of the land in order to twist and exploit the law to favor their clients and thus become rich and famous.  They may become famous but will not become righteous.  There may be other professions like this as well.  But, is it okay for Christian ministers to study the Word of God to twist the Word to exploit and deceive the people of God for their own worldly fame and profit?  No!  They work for Satan and pretends that they work for God.  God will destroy them in the end.   "2 Cor 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

I. Religious Christians versus Spiritual Christians

True Christianity is not just another religion.  It is not understood by gathering information and by observing ceremonies.  It is the life with power, which is directed by the word of God and by the Holy Spirit.  True Christians will mortify their carnality and will be raised in the spirit life.  They are lead of the Holy Ghost.  They are spiritual Christians "Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."  Those who are not lead of the Holy Spirit are not of God, but they are just religious Christians.  Receive the Holy Spirit and his power.  "John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."  Live as a Spirit filled Christian, become the son of God and be blessed.

J. The Words of Jesus Christ must Abide in US

The words of Jesus Christ get us clean to begin with. "John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you." We are newly born by the words of Jesus Christ, which gives eternal life. "1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." Through the words of Jesus Christ we will know God; the striving people receive the abiding of the word and we will overcome the devil. "1 John 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one." Let us all pursue after the word of Jesus Christ and overcome the devil. Then, we will be with Jesus Christ. "Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Obey the words of Jesus Christ and he will give you his throne.
