The ten-virgin lesson of Jesus Christ is about the kingdom of God. It is
in
Matthew 25:1-12. ["1 Then
shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps,
and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and
took no oil with them: 4
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their
lamps. 5 While
the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made,
Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed
their lamps. 8
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone
out. 9 But the
wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go
ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom
came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door
was shut. 11
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto
you, I know you not. 13
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the
hour wherein the Son of man cometh."]
Please read the scripture portion. I already have a lesson
on this and if you like to study the details, the link here. Link: "Ten
Virgins." Let me introduce the ten virgins first. Jesus Christ tells us
to be born again by receiving the Spirit. If you like to receive the Spirit, ask
God, and he will light the Spirit in you as it is in
John 1:9. It says that Jesus Christ, "who is the true Light, which lighteth every man
..." will light you, if you come to him. So, you are the lamp, God
lights you, the light is the Spirit of man, which is the Holy Spirit, and the
Oil is the gospel, which is the commands of Jesus Christ. If you are obeying his
commands by the power of God, then the Oil is in you, is lighted by
the Spirit, and showing the light to others. If you do not obey his commands, that
is, if you have rejected the Oil, the light is gone out, and you lost the Spirit
that God gave you. So, you are a backslider. Most of such people will go to
exciting preachers, and different denominations, who sells their own oils, that
are doctrines belong to them. And their Oil, that are doctrines, is lighted with their
excitement fire of deception by Satan. If one of their doctrines
does not work, if the lamp goes out, then they jump to another doctrine. They have
plenty of doctrines such as prosperity, healing, mountain moving faith, and so on, to
keep you excited.
These lamps are lit by fake oil and false fire. The virgins themselves are Lamps. So, we have two
kinds of virgins, one is true, and the other is counterfeit. God calls the true
virgins as wise, and the others as foolish.
Now let us come to the ten virgins of Jesus Christ. The virgins
are waiting for the bridegroom, on their way to the kingdom of God.
Verse 5 says, "While
the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept." So, none of
the virgins will fit to be the bride, since the bride will not slumber and sleep.
But,
they may fit to be the bride's maid. In
verse 2, Jesus says, "... five of them were wise, and five were foolish."
They that have the Oil and the light of God are the wise, those who have the
counterfeit oil are the foolish. In verse 12 "Jesus Christ tells them,
Verily I say unto you, I know
you not." Then the parable concludes
saying, "13
Watch therefore, ...." Preachers say to watch for
the time of his coming, but they do not know the time. But it is important to watch how do you wait for
him. You are a Lamp. Do you have the Oil of God, which are his
commands; Or, do you follow the faith of your
celebrity preacher or your favorite church? Is your Oil lighted by the fire that
is the Spirit that God gave you; Or, is your
fire the excitements, the song services, faith to get fortune, and such, that preachers
offer you? If it is not God's Oil and fire, he does not know
you.
3.
Strive to enter at the strait gate: seek to enter shall not be able.
If you do not strive and get rid of iniquity, God does not know you.
To get saved is the easiest thing in Christian world today. Preachers use
verse like
Romans 10:9 and say, if you believe that Jesus was raised from the dead,
just confess his name and then you are saved. So, almost the entire Christian
world can go to heaven. In Luke 13:23 someone
asked Jesus, "Lord, are there few that be saved? And
Jesus has replied to them,." So, let us hear what Jesus Christ say about being
saved, rather than hearing the twisted versions of preachers.
Luke 13:23-29.
["23 Then
said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for
many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 When once the master of the house is risen
up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at
the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto
you, I know you not whence ye are: 26
Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk
in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you
not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of
teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in
the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
29 And they shall come
from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and
shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30
And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and
there are first which shall be last."] You may read all verses, let
me take just
a few. Verse 24 says, "Strive
to enter in at the strait gate:" Here strait is tight, and it will
not allow iniquity to pass through. So, we must strive, it is to do hard
work
to
discard iniquity from us. Matthew 7:13&14 also
says the same thing.
["13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide
is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there
be which go in thereat: 14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."] Every
church, including Catholics, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, and all, have their
doors wide open for sinning people to enter, saying that Jesus Christ is
inclusive of all, and so they invite sinners to have fellowship with the
sinning pastors and leaders. Christians have celebrity preachers,
excellent music performers with great
worship songs, everything entertaining, without any striving.
But in verse 25,
God shuts his door and tells them that "I
know you not." But
in
verse 26, they
claim saying that they have the gospel preached to them, they have eaten
the word of God and drunk the spirit of God. But God calls them workers of iniquity
in verse 27, meaning they are sinning people and
in verse 28
God casts them into hell. Verse 29 says that the
worldly people, which are mostly non-Christians, will inherit the kingdom of
God, and this is the truth that Christians will never say.
But in verses 25 and 27
God tells Christians
that "I know you not whence ye
are:". But verse 30
says that "behold,
there are last which shall be first," pointing out that the new
converts from the entire world will be seated in heaven with "Abraham,
and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God" whereas the
religious Christians will be cast in hell as
in verse 28.
4. My sheep hear my voice, and
I know them, and they follow me.
God knows that are His, who has departed
iniquity.
Con-artist preachers deceive intelligent smart Christians in money and in
doctrine, because Christians do not care for the truth that Jesus Christ
preached in
the bible. Jesus Christ says in "John 10:26
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My
sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they
shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." If
you are his sheep, you will believe him, and you will do what he tells you to
do. If you are not his sheep, you will believe preachers, who will tell you
stories of Jesus Christ, but will not tell you to escape your
sins and iniquities.
"2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord
knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ
depart from iniquity." So, if you stand for Jesus Christ, depart from
iniquity, and this is the seal that God stands on. Nobody can cheat God, and God
knows who belongs to him. Choose to obey the commands of God,
but not iniquity; nobody can do both.
If you chose God over iniquity,
you will be his Sheep. You will be with God in heaven as Sons of God.
God Bless You
