Who is the True God?

This lesson is about the One Omnipotent Spirit God, having three persons in him. The three persons are God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, we may even refer to him as God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

1. Is God territorial, does every Sect, or country has its own God?

Let us see who God could be. I am from India. Hindus have many Gods. Their definition for God is, whoever has power over them is God. So, they have plenty of gods, but none of them are truly God for real. We Christians say that Jesus Christ is God. Why is he God? Is it because he died for us? It is a popular definition. Let us put it to the test. So many soldiers fought the war for the country and have died. We may say that they have died for us. Just because they died for us, are they our gods? No. So, this is not a valid definition, or qualification to be God. There are so many religions in the world, and they talk about God. None of them gives a description or qualification of God, and so any person and anything can be a god; that is you can refer me as god, and I can refer you as god. But the Christian Bible gives the exact description and the qualification of God, and with the specific information, we can determine who the true God is, and we can reject all others as false gods. The calibration scale is the Bible, to find the true God. So, let us study about who the true God is, from the bible. However, people can have their own opinion about anything, without scrutiny.

2. God is the Creator of All, the Beginning and the End, He is One.

"Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." So, whoever has created the heaven and earth is God. If a God has not created the heaven and earth, he is not God. "Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." So, God was there even before the world existed, in very beginning of all things and God will exist until the very end, even after the destruction of the world. If someone is not such a person he is not God. "John 4:24 says, God is a Spirit:..." So God is a Spirit. And many scriptures say that he is One God, and there is no other. Let us see a few of them. "Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:, 1 Kings 8:60 ... the LORD is God, and that there is none else. Mark 12:32 ... thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: 1 Corinthians 8:4 ... and that there is none other God but one. " This one God was and is a Spirit, and this Spirit is omnipotent and so, nothing is impossible to him, and he has created the heaven and earth by his power.

3. God is one Spirit; He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient.

God is a Spirit. His Spirit is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. His power attributes are in his Spirit. Absolutely nothing is impossible to him. He always fills the entire universe. God knows everything, even he knows what we think. Nothing is hidden from him. Because of the Omni-powers in his Spirit, he is God. "Job 42:2 I know that thou canst do every thing, ... Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. Revelation 19:6 ... Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth." God has created the universe, beginning with an invisible atom to stars that are much larger than the sun. God is Omniscient, that is he know all things, according to Job 26:6-7, 34:21-22, and Psalm 139:4. ["Job 26:6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. 7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. Job 34:21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings. 22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. Psalm 139:4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether."] God is Omnipresent according to Psalm 135:6, and 139:7&10. ["Psalm 135:6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places. Psalm 139:7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me."] So, he always fills the entire universe. So, the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ is on the right hand of God the Father and simultaneously in the entire world also. "Mark 16:19 says then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God." Ephesians 1:20-23; Hebrews 1:2-4; and 10:12-19; all says the same thing. "Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Acts 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities." So, Jesus Christ is in heaven as our mediator and at the same time he is turning us away from of sins in the world, as an Omnipresent God.

4. The Fellowship of the mystery, which was from the beginning in God

"Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, …" It says that these three persons in God have fellowship of the mystery, in one Spirit. This fellowship is a team as that is One, and they are hid in God.  That is, these three God persons are not only united as one in the omnipotent Spirit, and they have a mystery fellowship with each other, and so they work together. We have studied that God is One, and he is One omnipotent Spirit. This omnipotent Spirit of God has three Souls that are persons nested inside him; as we have brain and nerves to command the body, heart and arteries to distribute blood that is to supply power or energy that is needed, and body with flesh and bones to do whatever works needs to be done. We may say it in another example: take a cup of water, also take three different colors of water-soluble powder, and mix them with the cup of water. Now the water in the cup may be compared to the Omnipotent Spirit of God, and the three colors are three persons in God, nested in the omnipotent Spirit, who is God. The souls have the character attributes of God, as righteousness and holiness. The Spirit body of God has the power attributes of God, which are Omnipotent that can create and do all things and anything. God's Omnipotence go along with his omnipresence and omniscience also. So, if we are looking for the power and might of God, as opening the red sea, and such things, God is one omnipotent Spirit. If we are looking for righteousness and holiness, or such things, God is three soul persons. So, God is three persons in one Spirit, and we can apply to what we are looking for. We may say that this Omni-power Spirit is the body, and the other three God persons are as souls knitted together in secret fellowship in the body. In the old testament they were known as the Most High God, the Spirit of God, and God the Word. In the new testament, they are known as God the Father, God the Son, and as God the Holy Ghost. The true God is these three persons in One Omnipotent Spirit. And there is no other God, and no one else fit the requirements and qualification of God. So, the bible God is the only true God, there is no other God, and all other gods are false gods.

What is the true gospel and what are false gospels?

Matthew 28:20, & Mark 16:15. Jesus Christ preached his commandments to obey, as his Gospel; it is the true Gospel to inherit Eternal life. Genesis 3:1-4 & 2 Corinth 11:2-4. But Preachers, who are Serpents of Satan, preach the life of man Jesus just to believe, but not to live as a chaste virgin, as the gospel; it is another gospel, which cannot and will not give Eternal life.

What will the true Gospel do?

The true gospel will convert evil people to do good and thereby they will inherit the kingdom in heaven. John 3:19-21 say that people are two kinds, evil and true. Evil doers will not come to the Light, who is God; but people of truth come to God for their deeds to be made manifest. We have good and evil people by our standard of our society or culture. These evil people may be converted to be doers of truth by the power of God, and they may inherit the kingdom of God in heaven.
